- 1 Hotels Fellowship at E2: 1 Hotels Fellows will work in partnership with the Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) Emerging Leaders Program to identify pressing environmental issues and needs across the country, and then organize and execute projects that help communicate and amplify the business and economic case for smart policies to address these issues. Fellowships are restricted to early or mid-career professionals in sustainability, clean energy, water, infrastructure, or related fields. Each fellow will receive a stipend of $20,000, plus other benefits. / Apply by September 9, 2024
- Equal Justice Works Design Your Own Fellowship: Equal Justice Works Fellows have the opportunity to design their own Fellowship to address an unmet legal need and underserved community. This Fellowship opportunity allows fellows to leverage their law degree in service of a community or cause of their choice. Throughout the two-year project term, Fellows receive the support they need to focus on helping their community, including a competitive salary, health insurance, fringe benefits, up to $5,000 in loan repayment assistance per year, and Annual Leadership Development Training in Washington, D.C. / Apply by September 10, 2024
- Hodder Fellowship: The Hodder Fellowship will be given to writers and non-literary artists of exceptional promise to pursue independent projects at Princeton University during the academic year. Potential Hodder Fellows are writers, composers, choreographers, visual artists, performance artists, or other kinds of artists or humanists who have “much more than ordinary intellectual and literary gifts”; they are selected more “for promise than for performance.” Given the strength of the applicant pool, most successful Fellows have published a first book or have similar achievements in their field. - Princeton Arts Fellowships: Princeton Arts Fellowships will be awarded to artists whose achievements have demonstrated extraordinary promise in any area of artistic practice and teaching. Applicants should be early-career poets, novelists, choreographers, playwrights, designers, performers, directors, filmmakers, composers, and performance artists. Princeton Arts Fellows spend two consecutive academic years (September 1-July 1) at Princeton University and formal teaching is expected. A $ 92,000-a-year stipend is provided. - MacDowell Colony Fellowship: The MacDowell Colony is the nation’s leading artist colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Each year about 300 Fellowships, or residencies, are awarded to artists in seven disciplines: architecture, film/video arts, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music composition, theatre, and visual arts. MacDowell encourages applications from artists representing the widest possible range of perspectives and demographics. A Fellowship consists of exclusive use of a private studio, accommodations, and three prepared meals a day for two weeks to two months. MacDowell encourages applications from emerging and established artists representing the widest possible range of perspectives and demographics. - NEH-NSF Documenting Endangered Languages Fellowship: Made urgent by the imminent death of an estimated half of the 7,000 currently used languages, this fellowship aims also to exploit advances in information technology. Awards support fieldwork and other activities relevant to recording, documenting, and archiving endangered languages, including the preparation of lexicons, grammar, text samples, and databases. DEL funding is available in the form of one- to three-year project grants and fellowships for 6-12 months. At least half the available funding will be awarded to projects involving fieldwork. / Apply by September 11, 2024
- Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships: The objective of Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships is to support researchers’ careers and foster excellence in research. The Postdoctoral Fellowship action targets researchers holding a PhD who wish to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new skills, and develop their careers. PFs help researchers gain experience in other countries, disciplines, and non-academic sectors. Interested researchers can apply together with a host organization. All disciplines are eligible for Postdoctoral Fellowships, including research areas covered by the Euratom Research and Training Programme. The beneficiary receiving EU funding needs to recruit the researcher for the total period of the fellowship. / Apply by September 11, 2024
- Radcliffe Fellowship Program: Radcliffe Fellows are award-winning artists, academics, and professionals who convene at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University for a full year to focus on individual projects and research while benefiting from a multidisciplinary community in the University setting. Stipends are funded up to $78,000 for one year with additional funds for project expenses. Fellows receive office or studio space and access to libraries and other resources of Harvard University during the fellowship year, September through May. - Schwarzman Scholars: Schwarzman Scholars is a highly selective, one-year master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Whether in politics, business, or science, the success of future leaders around the world will depend upon an understanding of China’s role in global trends. Students will live and study together on the campus of Schwarzman College, a newly built, state-of-the-art facility, where all classes will be taught in English. Students can pursue a degree in Public Policy, Economics and Business, or International Studies. Schwarzman Scholars receive tuition and a stipend, room and board, RT travel, and an in-country study tour. / Apply by September 12, 2024
- SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowships: SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowships support the most promising Canadian new scholars in the social sciences and humanities and assist them in establishing a research base at an important time in their research careers. These fellowships are to provide stipendiary support to recent Ph.D. graduates. SSHRC welcomes applications involving Indigenous research, as well as those involving research-creation. SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowships are valued at $45,000 per year over one or two years, up to a total of $90,000. Most SSHRC funding is awarded through open competitions. Proposals can involve any disciplines, thematic areas, approaches, or subject areas eligible for SSHRC funding. / Apply by September 12, 2024
- The Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship: The National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) established the Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship program for medical, nursing, dental, pharmacy, and public health students with outstanding academic records, and leadership, and who are committed to serving Hispanics. NHHF’s partnership with the United Health Foundation (UHF) is a unique mentoring program where scholarship recipients are matched with a professional for a one-on-one mentoring program that focuses on their professional growth. The scholarship features awards of $5,000 annually for up to four years, as well as individual scholarship awards of $2,000 each of 40 students. / Apply by September 13, 2024
- Fulbright Specialist Program: The Fulbright Specialist Program is a unique opportunity for U.S. academics and established professionals to engage in two- to six-week, project-based exchanges at host institutions in over 150 countries. Specialists, who represent a wide range of professional and academic disciplines, are competitively selected to join the Fulbright Specialist Roster based on their knowledge, skill sets, and ability to make a significant contribution to projects overseas. Specialists receive full funding to participate in Fulbright Specialist projects, including travel, stipend, and lodging. Applications are accepted throughout the year.
