As a K-12 teaching fellow at Merrimack, you will earn your Master of Education in Teacher Education in just one year – tuition-free! – while serving in a partner school district for the full academic year (starting in August 2025), gaining unparalleled and invaluable field experience. In your fellowship role, you’ll engage in a range of classroom-based activities, including small group instruction, co-teaching, and ultimately, independent classroom instruction.

Eligibility
Eligible candidates must:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferably have a 3.0 undergraduate GPA (lower GPAs will be considered and have additional application requirements for evaluation).
- Be authorized to work 25 hours/week in the United States
- Be able to commute to campus and to fellowship sites (fellowships are in-person roles located either in North Andover, MA, or surrounding communities).
Join us for our Teacher Education Fellowship Event on November 14, 2024 to meet our faculty members on campus and ask questions about the M.Ed. in Teacher Education program, receive an in-depth understanding of the program, and learn how you can save 100% of your master’s tuition while gaining valuable experience.

- Submit your application. Be sure to complete the required Fellowship essay.
- Receive your admission decision. If admitted to the master’s program, you’ll receive further instructions about the fellowship process.

Priority Fellowship Application Deadline: January 10, 2025
Interviews begin shortly after the deadline.
Fellowship Orientation: Late April 2025
Duration of Fellowship Placement: August 2025 to late June 2026 (for 1-year fellows)
